CRT PREPROCESSOR



It is designed to prepare the CRT for cutting. It cuts and removes the steel band from the perimeter of the CRT front panel. Using an automated steel brush it removes glue from the area where the steel band is affixed. A pneumatically controlled brush is available for the operator to remove all paper, rubber, and plastic labels usually attached to the funnel section of the CRT. A suction cup holds the CRT in place while the rotating cutter cuts around the neck glass so that the electron gun can be removed. An air filtration system is built into the CRT Preprocessor to maintain work space cleanliness and adherence to OSHA requirements.
